After hearing about Sunny Hill yesterday and comeing to the website this morning I am compelled and excited to donate to what i believe is a wonderful thing. Although i haven't been on a horse in 40 years i remember the good times i had and would like to see every child have that feeling as well as preserving the quality of life for the horses that they deserve.

I owned horses until I was 40. I am 53, at home a lot and miss just simple pleasure of brushing my horse. I haven't rode in 12 years. I am proud that you are doing so much for these beautiful horses. Thank you.

I have a 11 yr. old overion paint, i have his papers. What i am needing is for him to go to a place were he can be worked. I bought him 3 yrs ago and was told he was broke. I did ride him some but had to have my knees replaced and can not ride him. I have taken him to a trainer but he has forgotten everything he had learned. He is stubborn, he will work for awhile and decides he is done and that is it. He stands for a ferrier, baths, and loads but only in a big trailer not a small 2 horse like i have with a divider in the middle. i NEED FOR HIM TO GO. I can ride him nor can my girlfriend. My # is 314 540 7594. I live here in New Franklin. Please help if you can.
Thank you Theresa. I just wish I had more resources to make a bigger difference but we often can only stand by and hope for miracles to happen. Those who make it to our facility are few compaired to the need out there but I reckon even if we can just help a handful of horses to have a new lease on life and or they find their final haven then we have made a small difference.

Hanna, First and foremost, welcome to our family. Secondly, Thank you fr your kind words. we try hard and work hard to givem all a new leaseon life. We would love to have you come out and visit / volunteer . We have a great need for volunteers who come and help by riding the broke horses and working the non ridable ones. Please call us and set up an appointment and those volunteers who have horse knowledge and experience can come and go as they please after the first couple introductions.

Natalia, I LOVED working with Chex and Riot yesterday!! What an amazing experience! I have always wanted to work a horse in a round ring, I've seen it done, but have never had the opportunity to actually do it myself!! Thank you so much for sharing all your professional experience and immense hands on knowledge of horses with me. I soak it all in like a sponge! I am so excited about working with the horses are your rescue, wish I could be there everyday!! See you soon.
.Chex sure does need somebody to keep her up to snuff. I think as well that you and her ( its a she..lol ) will do great together.She surely needs more times to be worked with. You know as well, that if you wish to ride, you may use one of the ridable horses. I am loking forward to seeing you again

Natalia, I know I will get joy volunteering to assist you in your courageous rescue and rehabilitation endeavors. Hope all went well yesterday with the hoof trimming of all your babies. I have met the horses only once and I miss them already and think of them so often!! Chex though rotten, spoiled and a bully did remain next to me by the fence enjoying the attention. My hands never left him with constant petting, playing with his mane, telling him how pretty he was and looking into his sweet eyes. Chex is one that I definitely want to spend time with! I agree, I do feel we bonded. Hopefully I can offer Chex exactly what he needs over time. Look so forward to beginning this new and wonderful adventure and opportuniy to serve you and the horses.

Natalia thank you for a wonderful afternoon. I really enjoyed meeting you and visiting your rescue. I was very impressed with how beautiful the horses look, how well they are taken care of and the horses are so friendly! Your grounds are so well kept too.
